This site was developed to simplify finding Public Library locations and information.  This service is made possible through the use of various information sources and technologies.  The acknowledgements are for the suppliers listed below.  The original data for the Public Libraries in the USA was obtained from the National Center for Education Statistics (http://nces.ed.gov/) and the data for the Public Libraries in Canada was obtained from the OLAStore (http://www.accessola.com/)

This site is hosted on a Linux-based platform using an Apache web server. All programming is done using PHP, Javascript and a mySQL database.

We encourage each of the Public Libraries to update their information as and when necessary, so that their information remains current.
